Slate of Candidate Approval: final approval of the slate of candidates will be done by the current Board of Directors.
The continued growth of RVC is due to a hardworking staff, dedicated members, and the leadership of our Board of Directors. Help grow our team, bring new ideas to the table, and be part of a culture that is constantly striving to provide the best programs to our members.
Application Deadline: Sunday, January 4 at midnight.
Term of Service: Beginning March
3 years (Governance) or 2 years (Associate)
Compensation: Board service is voluntary
Primary Board Responsibilities:
- Strategic plan development
- Financial oversight
- Promotion of the mission of RVC
- Support growth of the membership of RVC
The Board of Directors has 6 regularly scheduled meetings per year. Additional meetings may be called as needed. At the minimum, Board members are expected to be present for 4 of the regularly scheduled meetings and to make every effort to attend additional scheduled meetings which may include conference calls and Strategic Planning Session(s).
