Battle On Byrdhill

Richmond Volleyball Club is proud to host the annual event for Men’s or Women’s 6-Person teams.
We want to see the best teams from the East Coast battle it out for bragging rights and cha-ching – a $1,000 cash prize! Tournament will be held at our 12-court facility (with state-of-the-art heating and reflective lighting) located on Byrdhill Road – one of the largest indoor facilities dedicated to volleyball! Space is limited and teams are accepted on a "first paid, first accepted basis." Registration will open 12/31/2011.

Men's or Women's 6-Person teams
Two Divisions: Liquor League & Beer Bracket
Maxium Number of Teams Accepted:
Men's Liquor League = no more than 16 teams
Women's Liquor League = no more than 10 teams
Men's Beer Bracket = no more than 10 teams
Women's Beer Bracket = no more than 10 teams
Entry Fee: Liquor League = $300 Beer Bracket = $175
USAV Rules of Play Apply

PLAY FORMAT WILL BE BASED ON NUMBER OF TEAMS REGISTERED & POSTED LATER. HOWEVER, TOP 2 TEAMS WILL BE TAKEN FROM POOLS.
Trophies given for top 2 teams in each division. In addition, cash prizes will be awarded based on division and number of team entries.

Liquor League winners: |
10+ teams enter, $1000 prize |
Beer Bracket winners: |
10 teams enter, $400 prize

If <10 teams, prize money will be lowered. If only 4 teams in division, prize will be equal to entry fee. |
- Registrations are not accepted without payment.
- Registration deadline is 2/3/2012 but could close earlier if divisions fill. Late registrations accepted on a space available basis.
- Cancellation made prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of their entry fee minus $75 cancellation fee.
- Refunds will not be given after the registration deadline.
- Play and work schedules will be posted the week of the tournament.
- All players who are NOT RVC members will be required to sign a waiver on the day of tournament prior to playing.
